What is baccalaureate?
Celebration of Faith Where We
Honor Our Seniors
Baccalaureate, a Champion High School tradition, is an interdenominational service to honor graduating seniors, their families and guests.

The service is organized by parent volunteers and does not receive financial support from the district; therefore, financial support is needed from CHS families and the community to ensure a successful, memorable and meaningful event for our seniors. Donations will be used to cover costs that include speaker costs, facility support and printing costs for invitations and programs.

The service generally lasts about an hour.

Speaker
Frank Harris is a San Antonio area native, multi-award winning athlete, record breaking UTSA quarterback, holds multiple degrees and is a proven leader on and off the field. He was recently named VP of City Fans 210, an NIL fundraising organization to raise financial support for UTSA athletes. But what Frank prays he is most remembered for is his faith, his character and how he serves others in his community.

Frank graciously accepted the invitation to participate in the Champion High School Class of 2024 Baccalaureate to share his testimony and how his faith has helped him navigate life's mountaintop moments and painful valleys. His journey has often meant taking the road less traveled, and would rather be on the path God intended for him than anywhere else.
